Drum lessons for beginners is headed by experienced drummer and teacher David Beegun.

A native of Chicago, David has been playing the drums since age 9. While in high school, David started to hone his skills and talent by performing in the school bands as well as playing in rock and jazz groups around Chicago. At age 18, David attended the University of North Texas on a jazz performance scholarship and graduated in 2000.

David has taught drum lessons for over 20 years in Jr. High Schools, High Schools, and maintained a private practice of up to 40 students a week at various music stores including Chicago Drum Works in Chicago and Drummers World in NYC. He’s now putting all that experience and knowledge together in a series of comprehensive drum lesson videos which will teach you how to play the drums! David has lived in NYC since 2005 and currently lives in Brooklyn.
